Order of parameters important with ODP.Net

It may not have come to your attention yet, but when using ODP.Net as data provider, the name of procedure parameter is ignored. Instead, the provider maps ADO parameters to procedure parameters in order of declaration.

This is true unless you use the OracleCommand.BindByName property which will turn off positional binding and use names.
